It was really cool as a first time experience, I liked that theres set things everyday and a trainer keeping an eye on everyone, Marty and the trainers were all very friendly and welcoming too 🙂

I visited CrossFit Caloundra in late June 2023. Nice big gym, easy parking, great coach, friendly people and a really cool staffed crèche area for the kids.

Whenever we are in Caloundra we are sure to drop in at CFC. The coaches are great, the community is very friendly and the box is well equipped.

Popped in for a session while on holidays. Coach was very knowledgeable and friendly. Space is huge and class was tiring but fulfilling!

CrossFit Caloundra is the perfect environment for anyone interested in becoming a black belt in fitness. Marty is a highly proficient coach with a wealth of experience. He takes time to teach each movement breaking down cues so you can learn the technique properly. I feel comfortable and confident to attack every exercise and work out. I look forward to hitting all the classes, meeting really positive people who want the best for each other!!

5 weeks in Fantastic environment. Amazing people who push each other and want to see others break PBs or just achieve a new move. If you are new to CrossFit as I was or new to working out and you saw the last 10 mins of a class don't worry. the sessions go for an hour but are broken down into generally 3 sections. (warm up, prep, then the WOD = work out of the day.) all sessions are also scaled to individuals ability from the fittest person to the beginner. and for all ages. For example while someone next to me might be doing a ring muscle pull up I can do the first stages of that exercise and progress at my own ability. Tip 1 leave the ego at the door. Tip 2 pace yourself Tip 3 just keep showing up The coaches here are great and understand everyone is different and can quickly and easily assist you in your training requirements. I signed up for a 28 day kickstarter which gave me a body composition scan to see where my base line was at. Then started with 3 beginner classes to learn most of the moves which was very detailed and I believe an absolute must. 2nd week only made 2 classes 3rd week 3 classes and 4th week 5 classes. In the 4 weeks I was amazed with the body scan results. I mean I knew my clothes were fitting much better but still nervous. So final results my visceral fat went from 17 points to 14 points I lost 4.2% body fat mass They were my main 2 was concerned with the most after just being diagnosed with diabetes. The scan covers a lot more. which is fantastic for seeing real world results in your body, Instead of just scales telling you how much you weigh.

I completed the 28 Day challenge and it was great!! Even though I was the slowest person in class I was never made to feel inadequate. Everyone was so supportive and helpful. Marty and his team are great teachers/coaches. 👍 I feel stronger and feel great!!!
